Reflexology
Reflexology is a natural therapeutic method used for both maintenance of overall health, and to
address more specific conditions (for example: allergies, hormonal imbalance, and
musculoskeletal pain, etc.)

-
Reflexology works on energy pathways similar to acupuncture and acupressure.
-
It aims to promote circulation, ease stress & tension, and help with general well being.
-
Reflexology supports the body’s efforts to function optimally.

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a therapeutic technique which uses gentle pressure applied to your feet on spots that map to different areas, organs and glands in the body. It aims to bring about a state of
relaxation which encourages the body to rebalance and heal itself. When congested areas or energy blockages are found on the feet, working those areas can help heal the corresponding
body parts, organs or glands by increasing circulation and allowing energy to flow freely again.

Why have reflexology?
Those that have experienced Reflexology often say it can help you:
-
relax and better cope with stress & anxiety
-
relieve pain
-
lift your mood and give a feeling of well being
-
help to relieve symptoms associated with many common conditions
-
ease the uncomfortable side effects of cancer treatments
Many people who receive a Reflexology treatment leave their session with less aches and pains, feeling more grounded, and often experience improved sleep.

How a Session will Go:

On your first visit, your Reflexologist will ask you some general questions about your health, lifestyle and medical history. From there, a personalized treatment plan will be created to
address your health goals and concerns. You will then be asked to lay on your back and relax for the duration of your 60 minute treatment.

Most people say receiving Reflexology feels relaxing and soothing, although pressure on congested areas may feel tender. You will work with your Reflexologist during these times,
communicating as the tenderness eases and blockage is released. Emotional releases are also common during this type of treatment.

Based on your treatment plan and your body’s response to receiving a treatment, your Reflexologist may recommend an appropriate follow-up session if needed.

Reflexology is a non-invasive and generally safe form of therapeutic body work. Most recipients
feel very relaxed post-treatment and feel as though they are walking on a cloud.
